although i remain unconvinced that mick isn't going to be the next biggest name at a birmingham convention in a couple of years time. from what i've seen his style is solid,and his linework splendid. he is a superstar in the making,i reckon. i guess you can't please everybody.
hey,i thought that was a genuine comment from monitor lcd. i know mfp have some fans in the crazy house... hey mick,your linework is simply divine,mate. trust me,i have studied the linework of many of todays greats,from bolland to... err, anyway,your art is fantastic.
It's nice to be mentioned in the same sentence as Bolland (I met him once; he wanted to borrow a rubber off me. Actually, I should've typed 'eraser', it makes Brian sound a bit seedy! He was sketching at the next table to me at Bristol one year, that's all!) my linework isn't even in the same universe as his!
